A live table of bank account bonuses with the requirements, the dates and the real return worked out.

34 live offers

Every one checked against the bank's own page on or after .

What you could earn

In US dollars, for the time a bank asks you to hold it. Leave empty to skip this check.

Your paycheck or other income paid in by direct deposit. Enter 0 if you have none to move.

The top of the table

Largest bonus first. Each bank and account leads to its offer page: the steps, the fees and the bank's own page.

Bonus Tally may earn a commission when you open an account through links on this page. It never changes the math or the ranking. Offers are listed whether or not they pay us.

How the numbers are worked out

Three rules, applied the same way to every offer, whether or not the bank pays us.

Cash to park
The larger of the minimum opening deposit and the minimum balance the bank asks you to keep.
Annual rate
The bonus divided by the cash to park, times 365 over the hold period in days. What the cash earns through the bonus, not an APY the bank pays.
Checked
The day we last read the offer on the bank's own page. A row not rechecked for more than 21 days says so.

Questions about bank bonuses

What is Bonus Tally?
An information service that lists public US bank account bonuses and works out what each one asks of you and what it is worth. It is not a bank or a financial adviser, and it does not open accounts.
How current are the offers?
Every row shows the day we last read the offer on the bank's own page. An offer not rechecked for more than 21 days says Not rechecked since with the date, and an offer past its end date leaves the table. The verification log lists every check.
Do you need a direct deposit to earn a bank bonus?
No. Deposit and hold offers ask for cash kept in the account for a set time instead. See the offers you can earn without a direct deposit.
Are bank bonuses taxable?
Bank bonuses are generally taxable as interest income, and banks usually report them on Form 1099-INT. Are bank bonuses taxable covers the forms and the timing.
Do banks pay Bonus Tally?
Bonus Tally may earn a commission when you open an account through links on the site. It never changes the math, the ranking or which offers appear. How we make money has the detail.
